The ABC's of
Going to Heaven

  • A is for Admit

    • Admit that you are a sinner needing forgiveness.

      • Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (NKJV)
         

  • B is for Believe

    • Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ (the God-Man) died on a cross for your sins and rose bodily from the dead.

      • Matthew 1:23 Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated, "God with us." (NKJV)

      • 1 Corinthians 15:3b-4 Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. (NKJV)

      • Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. (NKJV)
         

  • C is for Call

    • Call on the Name of the LORD, the only God who can save you from sin, death and hell.

      • Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NKJV)

      • Acts 4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (NKJV)

      • John 3:36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. (NKJV)

      • Romans 10:13 For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. (NKJV)

Prayer

"Dear God, I admit that I am a sinner needing forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died on a cross for my sins, and rose again. Lord, I call on your Name alone. Save me. Take over my life and make me the kind of person you want me to be. Amen."
